Calivia is actively participating in the development of the Open Source IP PBX software
sipX from SIPfoundry.
The sipX solution is an open source small/medium scale Enterprise SIP PBX complete with voice mail and auto-attendant. It combines all common calling features, XML-based SIP call routing, voice mail and auto-attendant, Web-based configuration, as well as integrated management and configuration of the PBX and attached phones and gateways. sipX is a modular server based solution that runs on standard Linux. sipX does not require any additional hardware as it interoperates with any SIP compliant gateway, phone or application.
sipX is a native SIP communications solution strictly following and implementing all the relevant SIP IETF standards.
sipX-Wiki
We currently maintain and host the
sipX documentation Wiki. The Wiki started as our own documentation site as we began working with sipX on Gentoo Linux. After only two month of public operation it already hosted a wealth of information regarding SIP technology in general and the sipX software in particular. Today, the Wiki is available in Russian and English.
sipX Gentoo Linux ebuilds
The Gentoo Linux ebuilds for sipX aim at producing stable ebuilds that eventually can become part of the Gentoo Portage tree.
All ebuilds can be checked-out of our sipX ebuilds Subversion repository. Detailed instructions on how to setup a Gentoo build environment can be found in the sipX-Wiki.
sipX Debian/Ubuntu packages
We are working on
packaging sipX for Debian and Ubuntu.
